“It’s Called Choice” by Maggie Sue Traynor

Piercings, tattoos is that all you see?
I’m a human being, wouldn’t you agree?
I have health issues, to me they are real.
Yet I’m not treated fairly, that’s how I feel.
You make me feel like I don’t belong.
And I’m telling you, you’re so wrong
Why should I say what is bothering me
When discrimination is all I see.
You take an oath, what does that mean?
Fair treatment for all remains to be seen.
I’ll live my life the way I see fit
As far as you’re concerned, I don’t give a sh*t.
