“Moo & Boo #500,000 (For the Trees of London)” by G. Michael Miller

(or “Nonsense Due To Hunger”)

I am sitting in a room making no sense
government inact
North Africa intact
life is a broken match-stick back
life without food is a BIG MAC ATTACK

Ah who cares anyhow
I am perceived as a cow
where doth a cow go inside a societal structure
made of pissed-off anti-Catholic cops?
not to church

So how far out thou Juliet
when the sun’s not out
are you still the east?

Playing against the Alouettes
I love baseball
All jokes aside and adrift
Jackie’s safe
(the worst part of being a starving artist
is that the food is terrible)

Needs work: so do I.

Dying for Kentucky Fried Chicken, ya know
da wind is a-blow
low doth it go
existence is ALWAYS… so so
I can’t end the comedy
What am I, a Marx brother?
What good is watching that without
PIZZA or PASTA or MEAT
or MILK or COLA or MILKSHAKES

or FOOD MADNESS
hold that reefer
it’s hunger comedy and hunger comedy only.

(Wow, that poem was deeeeep, and so obviously influenced by Bob Dylan!)
My kingdom for free tobacco!
