Untitled poem by J.T. Wolf

A world now submerged in darkness and grey
People without voices, who have so much to say
Our beautiful oceans slowly turning to red
Millions being forced to bury their dead

Innocent children having to be brought up in this
Hell on earth, instead of peaceful bliss
The looks of joy replaced by those of fear
Don’t stand there and tell me you don’t shed a tear

The sounds of laughter replaced by screams
Things some of us only imagine in our darkest dreams
When you wake up tell me how you feel
Knowing that evil is truly real

Hatred, greed, money, power
Hundreds die almost every hour
The truth would be known if many didn’t deny
The sounds of dread and a child’s cry
