“In Transition” by Maggie Sue Traynor

I have no money, no place to go

How can I survive, I really don’t know

Two hundred dollars is a slap in the face

In layman’s terms it’s a bloody disgrace.

You don’t really help, yet you have the nerve to say

More cut backs are coming your way

There’s no more to take, yet you don’t seem to care

Which makes life unbearable, do you think that’s fair.

I’ll continue to suffer as life passes me by

My only way out is when I die.

No more problems will there be

We’ll all be equal, wait and see.
