I am happy to announce that I have recently accepted a new position with Addiction Services of Thames Valley, which means I will no longer be working in the Health Outreach for People Who Are Homeless at London InterCommunity Health Centre. I will be staying on as facilitator of the Grit Uplifted program but in a volunteer capacity.
The important changes of which you should be aware include the following:
- There will no longer be a Tuesday creative writing group offered at London InterCommunity Health Centre (LIHC). However, Saturday groups at Central Library will continue as usual. In addition, all activities surrounding the website, magazine, public events, and most other present commitments will continue as usual or be honoured until their satisfactory completion.
- The best way to contact me will be through email at email@example.com as I will no longer have regular access to phone messages at LIHC, and though my phone extension will be changing, the new number has not yet been determined. I will be adjusting my telephone contact information on the website as soon as it is received. You may also contact Megan Cornwell, LIHC Communications Director, at 519-660-0874 ext. 248 with any urgent matters or inquiries.
My work email, firstname.lastname@example.org, will still be functional, but the gmail address listed above is the most reliable and immediate way to contact me.
- Since I will not be available in person at the LIHC as of July 30, 2012, anyone who needs to connect with me or wishes to drop off material for publication on the website but who does not have regular internet/computer access may still leave items for me at the front desk of LIHC (clearly addressed to my attention), OR you may stop by the 3rd floor board room of the Central Library on Saturday afternoons before or after group (between 1:30 and 2:00, or, between 4:00 and 4:30).
- I will also be taking the opportunity at this time to assume my married name in all correspondence pertaining to Grit Uplifted, so instead of Kelly Bradley, watch for messages from Kelly McConnell. Please take note and make the necessary changes in your contact list(s).
Thank you in advance for your patience and support during this transition, and I apologize for any inconvenience these new arrangements may cause.
Please feel free to forward these details on to any relevant clients or community partners who may be interested in and/or affected by these changes.
~ Kelly (Bradley) McConnell
